Promoting patriotism and helping veterans in need are just two of the many ways that the Auxiliary serves their Posts and America's communities. Message from our President

Nadine White

Congratulations to all newly elected and appointed officers and chairmen. It is truly an honor to serve as your Department President for 2008-09. Your support and encouragement as I advanced through the chairs is very much appreciated. With your continued support and encouragement, we will have a wonderful year working together. I pledge my support to Commander Larry Flood and look forward to our working together for a successful year.

I congratulate Past Department President Dillie Staton and her Program Chairmen for their many accomplishments in the past year. I feel sure they will reap the benefits at the National Convention.

There have been many changes implemented by National for the coming year and we must all work together to accomplish the goals set forth. It can be done and we can do it!

My theme is “Flying High for Veterans and Their Families” and our National President, Dixie Hild, has chosen “Our Dreams Become Rainbows”. My special project is Hospice. It is my understanding that Hospice will be introducing a new mission for Veterans and their families this year. Further information will be forthcoming as that mission unfolds.

A very special “thank you” to all Auxiliaries turning in membership for the 2008-09 Parade of Transmittals. It was very heartwarming to know that you are working to Recruit, Retain, and Reinstate members. There are numerous monetary awards on the Department and National levels for your Auxiliary to win. Please check the Program Books for details.

I ask that you please remember our many men and women serving our Country at this time and those that have served in the past. Offer your support in any way possible to these individuals and their families. We owe them for our Freedom!

Nadine
